Support for Older People
At St Gabriel’s we value the presence and contributions of the older members of our community. Together we develop a range of activities and services with older people and their carers in Weoley Castle. We love to bring different generations of people together, to be holistic in supporting wellbeing, to network with other organisations and work for the best for people in Weoley Castle. At the moment we offer:
Befriending Scheme
If you would like a friendly visit and/or an ear to listen, or you know an older person who would, then please get in touch with Jo or Paul, our Older People’s Development Workers. We’d also love to hear from you if you would like to volunteer and train as a befriender. All befrienders are DBS checked and are well supported.
